While ISSF (International) shooters are limited to a 50mm width restriction for their grips, those of us who shoot NRA-only matches don't have that limitation. However many of our guns come from the ISSF world and therefore don't have grips optimized for the NRA game.
Instead of buying a whole new grip for your gun, now you can just replace your factory palm shelf with a custom NRA-style upsweep.
Take your pistol with the standard factory palm shelf and then with some air dry clay or similar product, mold your ideal upsweep shape. Whatever feels best is what's best for you. Though do note the rules only allow it to come up 1-inch from the surface of the palm shelf. Once you have it shaped, let it dry, then remove the palm shelf and mail it and the molded piece to me. I'll 3d-scan them, combine and print them for a new NRA-style palm shelf.
